grew up in Houston. Went to a small Catholic college in
Alabama (Spring Hill College). Graduated in 1969

Attended
graduate school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Taught chronic behavior problem junior and senior high
school students for 5 years.

Moved
to Dallas, got involved in the down hole oil country tubular
goods business at the beginning of the "Big Boom."
Got a position in Houston in 1976 and learned the
international trade for buying and selling in all forms of
steel pipe. Started own company in 1978 and continued with
it until after the "Bust" in 1986,

Worked
in the publishing business as a rep for a national
publishing firm utilizing established contacts I had in the
oil and gas business. Started "Doorway to
Houston," a marketing company providing services to
over 30,000 travelers to Houston each month.

Moved
to New Braunfels and began serving customers as a licensed
real estate agent in 1995.
